WHY ISRAEL IS BEING ATTACKED BY ALL SIDES
Israel has been attacked by all sides for the whole of last year.
On the 7th of October 2023 Hamas terrorists from Gaza, thousands of them, invaded Israel breaking the fences and moving through tunnels to attack civilians in the biggest attack against Jews since the Holocaust, perpetrated by Nazi Germany.
Since then, Israel has been bombarded by 8 thousand missiles from Hezbollah in the northern part and has fought a war against Hamas in the south. Until the last month, the front in the North was somehow managed without major operations, with efforts concentrated on the Gaza strip, where Israel conducted on ground operation.
CHRISTIAN SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL
There are differences between Christians and Jews. There is even antisemitism in some of the Christians communities, but Christians at large share the Old Testament with the Jews and are under Mosaic Commandments and Abrahamic heritage.
Almost all of the Western nations are secular but are firm behind Israel and the Jewish people right for existence and defense against aggression.
Most of the Western displease with Israel derives from the atheists and Orientalists, who are enamored with the notion of mystic Middle East as much as those ladies in the 1920s were infatuated with Rudolph Valentino as “The Sheik”, they are enamored with a fantasy.
UNWRA PEOPLE WILLINGNESS TO COOPERATE WITH HAMAS
This on ground operation uncovered the collaboration of substantive number of UNWRA personnel involved in Hamas operations.
There were Hamas terrorists in managerial positions in UNWRA that were keeping hostages in their own houses. State sponsored kidnapping is a crime against humanity, but the UN will keep on granting immunity from prosecution against these terrorists.
There was a datacenter under a hospital, that once discovered has been accepted as a surprise to the hospital managers, who claim innocence and ignorance of the installation, although a war thorn place like Gaza, every watt of energy is valuable, but these managers were only so happy to have the main datacenter of Hamas powered by the hospital generators.
IRANIAN BACKING OF HAMAS AND HEZBOLLAH
These two groups are a sample of what Iran has accomplished in their desire to install a Persian Islam in the region, making their Shiite faction the dominant one in Jerusalem, if they ever succeed in this conquest.
Iran was in difficulties until the international sanctions were lifted by the Biden administration in the beggining of 2020, that was adopting an appeasement approach to the Iranian nuclear arms program. Since then, hundreds of billions of dollars have been flowing to Iran due to the shortage of oil and rise on the price of the barrel. Now with plenty of cash and an appeasement loving USA, the Iranians moved their pawns – Houthis, Hamas and Hezbollah – to attack Israel and take their chances on the war, while Iran is far away from the battleground.
The top echelons of Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran were permanently removed by surgical attacks that were successful in assassinating the top bosses while sparing the population. This feat includes incursions inside Iran and inside Lebanon. No one has claimed responsibility for these assassinations.
FRATERNAL DISPUTES INSIDE THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITY
The Islamic community, as the same happens with other religions, are not monolithic. There are plenty of divergence between the major groups inside. The most famous one is the dispute between the Sunis and Shiites. One must add the Wahabites from Saudi Arabia and one have a lot of violent disputes being held.
Saudi Arabia was fighting in Yemen against the Houthis, which were backed by Iran. This war was supposed to be short lived, spanning weeks, but instead it lasted for many years, until Biden administration sided with Iran and made Saudi Arabia retreat.
Syria is a partner of Iran and have fought together in the Syrian Civil War, this alliance creating a common front was supported by a large coalition. The rebels on the other side are supported by European countries, including some NATO countries. There is support from the Gulf states as well as the Iran, Iraq, Kurdistan and Turkey to their respective partners. There are non state insurgents that support ISIS or ISIL and are a particular violent group who declared an independent caliphate. This already being dismantled during the Trump Administration.
This civil war illustrate what will be a dispute between the Islamic groups to control the area if Israel is removed from the equation. Without the intervention from NATO, these groups are hardly able to control ISIL, but they can attack and maim each other.
JUDEO CHRISTIAN VALUE
The foremost Judeo-Christian values are listed on the Ten Commandments, where one can take 85% of what you must do not to get into trouble. Simple ten short lines.
The common ground of the Judeo-Christian value is religion based on forgiveness and future. This makes possible the focus on the best possible instead of dwelling on the bad things that happened in the past and must be avenged.
Some countries want to avenge wrongs that happened centuries ago and those who perpetrated these wrongs are long dead, their descendants may or may not be no longer in power or wealth and keeping themselves in the past does not move them towards progress, which is in the future.
Focusing on education and the ability to defend their individual values creates a society of free men that can thrive anywhere in the world. Judeo Christian tradition ends the human sacrifices and places women at the same dignity level of men. Women can not be clergy in both traditions, but they are protected from instantaneous divorce and are protected from abortion. In places that have free abortion, like Communist China, where there are 21% more female fetus abortions.
ANTISEMITISM
Antisemitism has been part of Christian values and can not be forgotten. I myself a Christian am also a supporter of Israel. I am not Jew, but I do cultivate Jewish values and have a strong bond.
Antisemitism erupts in times of crisis and the Middle East is in crisis. The region has not been in peace unless a major power has kept it under control by means of force. This means the Umayyad Caliphate, the Ottoman Empire or the British-French Mandate. The disputes are present in an area where the culture for solving problems have been of retribution and control.
The region is rich in oil, although the are assigned to Israel is one of the few areas with no oil in the soil. Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, have plenty of oil and are rich countries full of petrodollars. Some others are less fortunate. Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan doesn’t have oil and are in economic crisis due to their own population formation or due to wars.
Blaming Israel for having a thriving economy in a barren land is the history of antisemitism. The Jews have been blamed for the lack of success of many peoples during history. Even Venice, the cosmopolitan Venice of international merchants had Jews in a ghetto. The same happened to the Jews in the Netherlands. These two states were merchants but had the Jewish population in ghettos, while most of the merchants needed the Jews to finance their trade, thus the reason why they were not expelled. These ghettos were formed by Pope Paul IV order, in 1555 A. C., to curb Jewish economic and social influence.
The papal order restricted the economic activity of Jews, only allowing them to sell “non vital” wares or second hand wares, in a secluded part of the city. This created a geographical market inside the ghetto and forced the communion of the Jewish population, tightening the bonds. Commerce became the modus vivendi of the Jewish community.
Commerce people, those who buy in bulk to sell in retail has been subject of rage and envy beyond the Jewish community. Hindus in Africa were target of hatred by Idi Amin Dada, for they were hoarding goods and price gouging. This also happened to Chinese in America and many more places.
The rage derives from a perception that the merchant does not produce anything, only takes from those who produce to the ones that consumes, and if the merchant gets rich in the process, it is unfair.
Israel also suffers from the envy of its success. The area where Israel exist have little, water that had to be divided with Jordan. The Israelis invented a desalinization process that supply all the water for drinking and irrigation.
The technological development of Israel have created industries in both hardware and software as well as those based on the Internet. Waze, Google, Android are some of the many companies created by Jews, using not the riches from the oil from their natural resources, but the intelligence of the population.
ENVY AS JUSTIFICATION
The attacks on Israel is based on envy. Destructive envy. The states around Israel fear democracy in Israel as the solution for the population. The progress that the Jewish population enjoy hurts the feelings of the Palestinians in Gaza that are living under the same climate, share the same geography, but are in a much, much worse condition.
Gaza strip has beautiful beaches, but the management from Hamas impedes it to be used as a resort, unlike Sharm-El-Sheik, in the Egypt owned Sinai desert, which is a hot spot in tourism and a source of income.
These attacks on Israel also wants to annex the territory to a Islamic nation, keeping the land and expelling the Jews. This is what “From the river to the sea” means. The so called backers of Palestine want to get rid of the Jews and keep the land, owning the farms, the industries and companies there.
To conquer the land, a military operation suffice. For once if Israel loses the war, there will be a new diaspora and in few months no Jews will live in the Holly Land anymore. But without the Jews, there will be hardly any value in the farms or industries or even companies or shops. The culture will be removed together with the Jewish population and in months, all these assets will be transformed into dust, just like it happened when Iraq invaded Kuwait.
