LABELING WARS

The ridiculous move from Donald Trump to change the name of the gulf to Gulf of America has raised an interesting response.

Some groups look at it as an offense to Mexico, which was the imperial power that hold sway to the whole region in the times of the First Mexican Empire, from 1821 to 1823. The state of Florida was acquired from the Spaniards in 1819 by means of purchase from the Spanish. The state of Louisiana was bought from the French in 1803.

Up to now, one has been under lots of demands for name changes. Names like Mount McKinley was rename mount Denali by Barack Hussein Obama in 2015. The name was McKinley for over a century. The claim to the new name has no contemporary records.

Some cultures had left written records, like the Olmecs, Aztecs, Tihuanacos, etc. Some others have no such records, so the naming is based on some modern narrative of what could have been.

Mount McKinley is as good name as any, but the desire to showcase the power from the pen moved Hussein Obama to change the name. This satisfied his own ego as well as pleased some NGOs which advocated for the change.

The name Denali doesn’t change much. We all still cherish the high mountain and think of the people who has run after gold and have chosen a name, not of their own, but of a politician.

The change has been done by the Department of Interior, the same department that have changed the name of Gulf of America. It’s the law and the name has been changed. This change will last for a few years until the presidency changes hands.

Mount McKinley is not the only geographical location to be target of changing names. Mount Rushmore has been suggested to be rename Igmu Tanka Paha. This name has little chance of being memorized.

TRUMP MOVES

Trump turned the tables on those who like to change names. The change of Mount McKinley and Gulf of America makes these the new legal names of the geographical places. It is published by the Department of Interior and must be called by its name by all people under the jurisdiction of the United States of America.

Mexico can call it Gulf of Mexico or even Gulf of Napoleon III or Gulf of Zetas, Gulf of Tijuana, Gulf of Sinaloa or whatever. It’s their jurisdiction and Mexico’s coast has a significant part of the Gulf. The name only apply to the jurisdiction.

ASSOCIATED PRESS TANTRUM

The Associated Press (AP) refuses to use Gulf of America to refer to the Gulf bathing Texas, Louisiana and Florida. This is equal to use Mount McKinley to call Mount Denali during the Hussein Obama era, or even the Trump’s 45 presidency and Biden’s presidency. The name has been changed and must be followed in the jurisdiction.

The beauty of the Trump name change is that there is always a knave to get into the trap. A knave is a dishonest or unscrupulous man. (Oxford Languages). The AP took the bait, hook and sink and played right into Trumps trap. The mandatory use of labels has been enacted as law. The AP violates the law at their own will.

This dismantles the fantasy notion that calling Mount Denali Mount McKinley is a grave problem. The AP wants to defend itself using flimsy arguments like history, but this fall flat on their face when there is no actual records of the name use, because the Denaa people did not have written language.

The ridiculous name change from Hussein Obama was obeyed by the AP because they are not news organization, but a arm of the Hussein Obama types, the revisionists and overall, the power play people.

WHY CHANGE?

The incompetency..

Hussein Obama has changed the name – and I have chosen part of his name without changing it – because his policies to actually improve the fate of the Denaa people in Yukon are meaningless and resultless. Their plight is untouched but it was great photo opportunity and made Hussein Obama look like a president who cared for the Denaa people. Who did know that the Denali was not related to the Big mountain, but the gentilic of the people living nearby?

The change also shows the desire to remove white men history, McKinley being an murdered in presidency white republican politician. This shows the traits of skin color discrimination.

In the Socialist and Communist societies, government use this trick to create news and make something new out of changing labels. The creation of an extra taxation on the people is not labeled taxation, but called a contribution. When challenged in court, that decides that a “contribution” is optional, the socialist government make it a compulsory contribution. Still refusing to call it confiscation.

The changes of names help keeping incompetent government in place.

The power play.

The change in name serves as a guide to force people to change their memories, from remembering standing at Mount McKinley to say they stood at Mount Denali. There is a break in language and moves people to create new memories based on the new name.

This serves the purpose of creating new pronouns. People stood in front of their acquaintances and used a set of pronouns. Now, under demand, they stand in from of the same acquaintances but will be mandated to use another set of pronouns.

People in general would not mind, with the help of the acquaintance, to please him/her/them/etc. for the sake of being kind and gentle and pleasing people.

The problem is when the government using the power of police and the privilege to threat the people with the use of power, to use the correct pronouns, even if the acquaintance does not provide the information of how they want to be treated.

In several occasions, the wrong pronoun has led to judicial consequences to people who just forgot or did not know any better and this is oppression. Oppression not from the acquaintance, but from the government that uses the power of police. Some people went to jail for wrong pronouns.

Victimization

The use of the wrong label gives opportunity for people to claim victimhood, for their core values were defiled by the wrong label. To call it Mount McKinley is to deny the Denaa people of their core values.

To use wrong pronouns is considered a violation of the human rights.

This makes good new for the media outlets as well as create opportunities to start an NGO to protect these people from mislabeling and have some GOVERNMENT funding for a NON GOVERNAMENTAL ORGANIZATION.

GOVERNMENT POWER IN CANADA

The real risk here is the government abuse of power in Canada.

In 2016 the socialist oppressive government of Justin Trudeau enacted a law where there would be government mandated use of pronouns.

The problem, of course, was not the kind treatment for those who demand it, but the government of Canada threatening the wrongdoers with prison if they do not comply.

Jordan Peterson rose to defend the right of people to free speech and use the pronouns the orator seems fit, even if the subject of the pronouns believe it is wrong. The choice of the subject is to demand correction or to leave the orator speaking by himself. It is not to the government to punish the orator for saying the wrong pronoun.

There may be some theoretical possibility that the orator does it on purpose, case in which the listener must be free to contest it or to leave premises. It is not up for the government to summon the police powers of using violence or threat of violence to coerce speech.
